A 25-year-old Merin, in the final months of her pregnancy, was returning home from the city when the weather suddenly worsened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At first the snow seemed like a typical winter occurrence, but in the evening it turned into a full snowstorm. The white snow covered the path, and her car \u2014 trying to pass a forest trail \u2014 got completely stuck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She tried several times to start the engine, rocking the car, but soon the fuel ran out. The cold strengthened, and her strength faded quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An hour later, a car happened by the same road. The driver noticed a heap in the snow, in which a woman lay, circled by wild animals. When he approached, the pack quietly dispersed, as if their mission had been fulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Merin was transported to the hospital. The doctors said she and her baby could have died from freezing. However, the pregnant woman survived thanks to the wolves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
