<\/p>\n\n\n\nI had dreamed of my own business all my life. With no starting capital, no investors \u2014 just me, my hands, and enormous stubbornness. After many long years, I managed to open my own small grocery store.
My employees are the kindest people, proven over the years. Together we survived crises, power outages, and difficult customers. I considered them not just colleagues \u2014 they became part of my family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But suddenly strange things began to happen.
At first, I noticed that every day several bananas disappeared. Then \u2014 apples, pears, mangoes. It was as if someone intentionally chose the ripest and tastiest ones. I thought \u2014 a mistake in the warehouse. Then \u2014 an accounting error. But no. The disappearance of products became systematic. With each passing day \u2014 more and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I talked to the guys, but they all swore they hadn\u2019t taken anything. They spoke convincingly. So much so that I began to doubt \u2014 maybe I was mistaken? Maybe I was forgetting something?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next morning I watched the recording. And I almost dropped my phone in shock. I thought my employees were stealing products, but the truth turned out to be much more shocking

First she peeked inside, making sure that no one was in the store. Then she quietly slipped to the fruit section and began carefully choosing \u2014 like a true gourmet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n First she broke off a banana, sniffed it, didn\u2019t like it \u2014 tossed it aside. Then she found a peach, sat right between the boxes and began eating it carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When one of the employees walked by, she quickly hid behind a box, froze, as if playing hide-and-seek. And then, waiting until she was alone again, continued her tasting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the recording she ate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 two bananas, I watched the recording over and over again. First \u2014 in complete shock. The next day I came earlier than usual and stood by the back entrance. \u2013 half a pineapple (yes, she scraped it out with her claws!),
\u2013 an avocado (bit it and tossed it \u2014 not to her taste),
\u2013 and pears \u2014 that was true love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then \u2014 with a slight smile. And then I couldn\u2019t hold it in and laughed.
This cheeky creature had been pulling off \u201craids\u201d almost every day, and we didn\u2019t suspect a thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And you know what? She came. Confidently, without any embarrassment, as if coming home.
She stopped, looked at me\u2026 and seemed to frown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
