It all started with a dawn scream, as if the night itself had taken shape in that voice. The baby cried so piercingly that the walls trembled and the air felt stretched to the limit. This cry wasn’t just a demand for a mother’s closeness — it sounded like a desperate plea for help, tearing her heart apart.
At first, everything seemed normal. Babies cry — that happens. But morning turned into afternoon, afternoon flowed into evening, and the crying didn’t stop. It became more strained, hopeless, filling every corner of the house with its frightening echo.
The exhausted mother tried to find the reason. She stroked the tiny cheeks, whispered gentle words, tried to feed the baby — everything was useless. The little one arched in pain and burst into crying again, a cry that sounded more like the scream of a tormented creature than the voice of a helpless child.
In despair, she decided to check the onesie — the brand-new one she had bought a couple of weeks ago. When she unbuttoned it, the woman felt something inside her collapse.

Inside the seam, among the soft fabric, something foreign and sharp was glinting.
She ran her fingers along it — and instantly jerked her hand away: tiny, rusty metal needles, as if hidden in the secret pockets of the seam, were sticking straight into the baby’s delicate skin every time he moved.
Everything became clear in a single moment. This cry wasn’t the cry of a fussy baby — it was a scream of pain.
The mother stared in horror at the tiny scratches, red spots that had already begun to get inflamed. She felt chills run through her body from fear. Horrifying thoughts flashed through her mind — what if the metal was contaminated? What if the infection had already gotten inside?
With trembling hands she tore the cursed jumpsuit off her baby and, without even understanding where she was running, rushed out of the house to the hospital.
The doctor, seeing the baby’s condition, paled. Cuts, bruises, traces of rust — all of this could have led to terrible consequences. They immediately bandaged the baby and took tests for infection.
Fortunately, it turned out that the wounds were superficial, and there was no infection yet.
But the pain caused by the manufacturer’s negligence could have led to a real tragedy.
Thankfully, the mother noticed in time and went to the doctor.
